High tier weapons and useful combat equipment may appear depending on the crate.
Server Event
Airdrops
Airdrops are high-value dynamic events. When the server reaches the required player population, an aircraft will bring in a drop and the location will be shown to players.
Because the location appears on screen and on the in-game map, airdrops can attract multiple survivors. Approach carefully, clear infected and be ready for competition around the crate.
Loot
Airdrops contain high tier weapons, raiding tools and building supplies. The amount and exact items can vary from time to time.
Building Supplies
Airdrops can contain useful materials for base progression and upgrades.
Tools
Some drops can include tools needed for looting, breaking locks or survival progression.
Opening the Crate
Airdrop locations are random and each drop location can vary within a given radius. Airdrops must be fought over, and killing zombies is required before opening the crate.
Remember to bring something to break the lock with:
- Crowbar
- Lockpick
- Hacksaw
- Sledgehammer
- Pipe wrench
You are going to need it. One of the undead might carry the key you need.
Player-Called Airdrops
Players can obtain airdrop flares from airdrops to call in Medical, Civilian, Basebuilding or Military loot at a time of their choosing.
Be careful — others will know what you are up to. Calling an airdrop may draw attention, infected and other survivors to the area.
Airdrop Tips
- Bring medical supplies, food, water and enough ammunition.
- Carry at least one tool capable of breaking the lock.
- Clear infected before opening the crate.
- Watch the surrounding area before looting.
- Do not drive or loot close to scheduled restart times.
- Use Discord tickets if an airdrop issue needs staff review.
