Vehicles are useful but risky. Vehicles can only be purchased from Altar, and players should drive carefully and plan around restarts.

Vehicles are useful but risky. On Shambles PvE, vehicles can only be purchased from the Altar trader. DayZ vehicles can be unpredictable, so drive carefully and keep spares where possible.

Buying Vehicles

Vehicles can only be purchased from the Altar trader. Make sure you have enough money and storage space before travelling there.

Vehicle Tips

Keep spare parts, fuel, water, repair kits and a spare key secured at base.

Restarts

Avoid driving close to scheduled restarts. Restart times are 00:00, 04:00, 08:00, 12:00, 16:00 and 20:00.

Compensation

Vehicle compensation usually needs clear video evidence and staff review.
